Abstract Submission

PRESENTATION OF ABSTRACTS

We appreciate your interest in submitting your abstract for the II International Care Congress to be held on November 13-14, 2024 in Gran Canaria, Spain. The theme of the Congress is “Other forms of care are possible” and aims to debate how other forms of care are possible, being one of the main challenges of contemporary societies.


We welcome poster presentations focused on emerging best care practices. Consider submitting a summary proposal focused on one of the following topic areas:


Through keynote conferences, discussion panels, workshops and interactive activities, the goal is to continue building environments for the exchange of innovative and collaborative ideas, where life is placed at the center.

Submission of abstracts: Abstracts must be sent in English and Spanish, of a maximum of 500 words, and must include: title, introduction, objective, methodology, results, conclusions, 3 keywords and 5 APA type bibliographical references. The document must be sent in pdf. (Arial font, font size 12, line spacing 1.15.)



The submission of poster summaries will close on October 12th. Results of accepted summaries will be notified on October 30th.

Doctor Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Social Work of the University of La Laguna. Doctor in Psychology, Master in Family Intervention and Mediation, and Graduate in Psychology, as well as founder of the Network of Researchers on Positive Indicators of Mental Health.

Dra. Laura Aguilera

Laura Aguilera Ávila is a Contract Professor with a PhD in the Area of ​​Social Work and Social Services at the University of La Laguna. She has a degree and PhD in Psychology and a Diploma in Social Work and is currently Director of the Department of Communication Sciences and Social Work. She has also been director of the Gender Equality Unit and secretary of the University Institute of Women's Studies, with her preferred lines of research being gender equality and violence against women.
